Course Intent:

This course is for parents/carers or other professionals who might want to understand how to support young people who have a diagnosis or on the pathway to a diagnosis of Autism.

Who the course is for:

Parents/carers of young people who have been diagnosed or are on the pathway to diagnosis of autism. The course may also be of interest to professionals who already work with or are looking to work with young people and adults with autism who want to gain more knowledge in order to support them.

How you will learn:

Where appropriate we will offer classroom-based training supplemented by home study and elearning supported by our tutors. You will be assessed by your tutor using a portfolio of evidence. There are no exams - just assessments!

Course starting dates and times:

This course is delivered via both a virtual classroom where you will need access to a computer/laptop and internet, and in community venues.
